Salome Wairimu Muhia - Beacco is the Principal Secretary for the State Department of Correctional Services. She was appointed Principal Secretary by President William Samoei Ruto on 4th July 2023. Prior to her appointment, Ms Beacco worked as Founding Partner at Wanyonyi and Muhia Advocates. 

Ms. Beacco has over 25 years of experience in the legal practice and has an LLM in leadership and Governance. She is also a Chartered Insurer and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
